Febuary 2026 - God Provides
February is a month filled with finalizing enrollment numbers, interviewing new families, recruiting new staff, preparing our students for college testing, and countless other important responsibilities. And in the midst of the busyness of this season at Doulos, we continually look ahead with great expectation because we know that God has been faithful in every season at Doulos. Yes, there are plans to finalize, roles to fill, and details still unknown, but God has been, is, and will always be at work.
One of the ways we’ve most seen God at work is how He has guided our steps and sustained our mission by filling Doulos with people whose hearts are aligned with His work in the Dominican Republic, people like Sarah!

100th Day of School
This past month we celebrated our 100th day of school! Whether they dressed up as centenarians (100-year-olds) or put a hundred items on a T-shirt, it was so fun to see the creative outfits that our students came up with.
The Big Tractor
In order to take our first steps of utilizing the new property, we’ve got to clear the path. We are so thankful to the handful of donors who made this tractor possible so that we can create accessible spaces on the land.
The Goshen Guys
This unique team of carpenters from Goshen, Indiana have made it a tradition to serve in Jarabacoa for decades. Our staff and students benefited from all the special projects they did over the two weeks of service.
Student Storytellers
Every week our elementary students learn a new Bible story in chapel—and what better way to learn than to see it acted out! Watching students work as a group to share Bible stories with the rest of elementary is always such a joy!

📝 New student enrollment: Pray for our team that is working on selecting students for the limited spots that we have for this next year. Pray specifically for wisdom for them as they seek to add the right students and families to the Doulos family!
🤝 New missionary staff: We have added a few new missionary staff hires over the past month and we'd love for you to pray for them as they prepare to serve at Doulos. Pray specifically for the fundraising process, language learning, and mental/ emotional adjustments that they will be making over the next few months.
✨ Our seniors: They are entering into the final few months of their time at Doulos and that is especially scary for some of them. Pray that God guides them clearly into their next steps past Doulos and that He will continually surround them with people that love them and point them to Jesus.
