In 2018, the Lord spun their life around when he placed Doulos on their hearts. Their five-year plans didn’t make sense any more, and all they knew was that they had to sell everything and move to the Dominican Republic. He placed a passion for public health and school nursing on Acarey's heart that she never knew she could have and provided an avenue for them both to use their passion for sports for God's kingdom. God used Lane's background and involvement with sports to grow our athletic program and sports teams to new levels.
