For 20 years, Doulos Discovery School has been on a mission to equip the next generation of Dominican leaders, transcending socioeconomic barriers and cultivating servant leaders with a passion for God. MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE
As the Executive Director, supported by a talented team, you will play a pivotal role in creating the culture and capacity for Doulos to continue to provide life-changing education and Christian spiritual formation to students from intentionally diverse backgrounds in the Dominican Republic.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
Intimate and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
Master’s degree in leadership, education, ministry, or related field
Passion for providing high-quality education to diverse students
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience in executing successful capital campaigns
Previous work with Non-Profit organizations
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership- Lead by example, embodying Doulos Mission, 5 Pillars, and Statement of Faith. Engage stakeholders actively for continuous innovation and improvement.
Staff Development- Cultivate relationships to recruit potential staff. Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and professional development. Provide spiritual leadership.
Vision- Develop and implement the strategic plan for Doulos, working with the Board. Develop annual budgets, project timelines, and action plans.
Development- Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and events. Lead development of new facilities.
Communication- Oversee communication materials, serve as a spokesperson, and actively pursue positive press coverage. Collaborate with the Board Chair for meeting agendas.
LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
The Executive Director must reside in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.
Approximately 15% of their time will be traveling to foster and maintain strategic relationships in North America.
